ReCreation is about having time to play and handle materials while sharing conversations, experiences, skills and dreams.
Relationships and conversations with people and the materials they encounter means beautiful things appear. Prayer, tears and laughter are added to the mix, in the process people discover they are artists, makers and creators.
Facilitators listen and respond to participants needs and aims.
Activities will always vary and are adapted to suit what people want to make or do.
Materials used recently included threads, bottle tops, paint, fabrics, beads, paper and mud.
Tools and facilities include lights, music, cameras, quiet room, computer and data projector.
Meals, conversations, sharing and reflection are integral to the whole experience.
